Perran Literally
Makes it Snow

Imagine finding yourself in a snow-storm on a warm spring night at an old the Walter Burley Griffin Incinerator in Melbourn or Carriageworks, a train yard in the middle of Sydney, You are surrounded by majestic old buildings or train sheds that tower above you, snowflakes fall gently from the sky surrounding you in a micro blizzard, snowflakes fall on your face and hair instantly evaporating from your body heat, like it was never there.

surprise

At once a celebration of the spectacle and the capacity for nature to move us. The Fall is a large-scale experiential phenomenon where Perran literally makes it snow, where the audience’s senses are heightened to encourage them to be aware of the world around.
A comment about the increasing prevalence of environmental anomalies in a time where sustainability is a major concern with the Australian government walking away from its pledge for 5% carbon reduction. Will these anomalies just become the norm in our contemporary lives?
