Lost In Transition
Tarveling at Lifes Crossroads
Lost in Transition attempts to capture the transitory moments in life that often feel disorienting, overwhelming and ungrounded whilst also feeling exciting and liberating simultaneously. Those moments experienced whilst travelling or at life’s crossroads the feeling of floating lost in transition.
To achieve this landscape photos are taken by Perran on his travels, then projected using an old lo-res video projector over a nude model and photographic cyclorama, creating the effect of multiple layers of imagery that engulfs the model into the environment rendering them lost and in a transitory state of flux.
